Partners Health Management is aware some providers of personal care services (PCS) are experiencing issues with claims processing accurately. This is for services that do not require electronic visit verification (EVV).
What is happening?
- There is an identified known issue regarding PCS impacting CPT Code 99509.
- There is also an issue impacting claims denying inaccurately due to invalid modifiers.
What do providers need to do?
No action is needed by providers. Partners staff is working to escalate adjustments to claims.
