Partners Health Management (Partners) is issuing this provider alert to notify Physical Health providers of upcoming utilization management (UM) vendor changes for Radiation Oncology, Cardiovascular Procedures and Genetic Testing.
These changes apply to services rendered on or after May 1, 2026.
What is changing?
Effective May 1, 2026, Partners Health will implement new utilization management vendor partnerships for the following service areas:
- Radiation Oncology will transition to Evolent
- Cardiovascular Procedures will transition to TurningPoint
- Genetic Testing will transition to EviCore
Reminder: Evolent was implemented as the UM vendor for Musculoskeletal Surgery and Interventional Pain Management effective April 1, 2026.

What do providers need to know?
- For certain procedures within the specialties listed above, service authorization requests will be managed by a vendor partner and must be submitted through the vendor’s portal.
What do providers need to do?
- Register with the applicable vendor portals to submit prior authorization requests.
- Use the Pre-Authorization Check Tool on the Partners website to confirm whether a procedure requires prior authorization.
- If prior authorization is required, the tool will identify the appropriate vendor for submission.
- Submit requests through the designated vendor portal. Additional information about the new vendor partners, along with portal links, is provided below.
