The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) has issued revised fee schedules. Partners Health Management is working diligently to update rates in our system and will be reprocessing claims as quickly as possible.
What is happening?
NCDHHS has issued revised fee schedules that reflect procedure code updates. This reverses the previously reduced rates provided to NC Medicaid health plans on Jan. 5, 2026.
- Partners will update rates in our system within the 45-day period set by NCDHHS and will complete updates on or before Feb. 19, 2026.
- After the reconfiguration, Partners will begin reprocessing claims, aiming to complete them on or before March 21, 2026.
What do providers need to do?
- Behavioral Health Providers: Partners will not require providers to take any action for Behavioral Health claims to be reprocessed.
- Previously recouped claims will be included as part of the reprocessing.
- While we have up to 30 days to reprocess claims following the implementation of the updated fee schedules, we intend to manage this with urgency to deliver the necessary funds to providers promptly.
- Physical Health Providers: Physical Health Providers should follow the steps outlined in https://mailchi.mp/cch-network/special-bulletin-lesser-of-logic for Physical Health claims processing.
